30 kms from Lisbon at the Quinta da Marinha Hotel Village Resort some 6 kms and 8,5 kms to the west of Cascais and Estoril respectively. The course was inaugurated in November 1984, and has been designed by Robert Trent Jones and is probably one of his best achievements. The course stretches among umbrella pines, wind blown dunes and rocky outcropings, resulting in a great challenge both to high handicappers and scratch golfers. They say that you can measure the strength of a Golf Course by the difficulty and variety of its Par 5's and Par 3's. Here is a course ready to test the skills of the golfers. The visit will be worthwhile as the course is a delight to play with its 5 par 5's and 6 par 3's plus the beautiful location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. | ||||
